Below is an overview of the design process I follow when I am working on a game, and application, or any creative work. I find that organizing my workflow like this allows me to iterate and refine my work at each step of the way. This produces a more enjoyable experience in the final product because of more time in the planning phase, early prototype testing, and interacting with users. This process also allows for flexibility during development cycles so when changes needed to be made, I can always go back a step in the cycle and re-evaluate my decisions.
